Joy In The Journey - FINISHED!

Last Sunday I was able to finish this piece, but I was overloaded with work that when I'm home, I just wanted to sleep, that's why it's only now that I can post about it.  So, here it is, unframed:

Sorry, pictures were not that good.  I used a different camera than my usual Sony.

I started working on Tropical Fruits, but progress is not that significant so maybe pictures will follow next week.  As of last posting about this project, I think this was the progress I've shown here:
I hope I can finish this soon but I am so slow I think it will take another year or two?... Then hopefully I can go back to my UFO's.  I am planning to follow this schedule:

First, Floral Splendor:

Here's my progress as of ... I can't remember when, LOL:
I think it has lesser stitches to finish than Memory Lane:
Here's where I left off with my Memory Lane:
I really, really need to be a good girl so as not to start anything new...  Well, we will see...

This is all for now my friends!  Thank you so much for stopping by.  And big thank you for all of your comments.  Am sorry if I wasn't able to leave comments on your blogs as it's really difficult to do it in the office.  But I assure you that I always, always read all of your blogs.

Take care everyone and have a great week ahead :-)

PS:
To Alison-Jellybean, I haven't upgrade to Google+ yet so I don't know how to reply to your comment.  Because what I usually do is whenever somebody leaves a comment, I usually do my reply in their blogs :-)

Stitching Goals

I don't do new year's resolutions, but I will be setting some stitching goals this year.  There are some UFOs that I would really like to finish, and hopefully I can complete one or two of the following:

Memory Lane

Here's what it will look like if finished (this photo courtesy of abullrun):

And here's my progress (I started this maybe some time 1999, tho I am not so sure):

Memory Lane is what really hooked me on cross stitching.  I saw a finished project of this in Dreams Yarnshoppe and the rest is history.  Now, I have more than enough charts and kits that I know will need a lifetime or two to finish them all.  But sadly, I still haven't finished my Memory Lane.

Floral Splendor

My progress (I started this some time early 2000):

My progress (I also started this some time in 2000):

I am not sure if I can finish them all specially that I have three WIPs on-going, but I will do my best to complete even one.

Thanks for reading and take care everyone!
