New Thread Organizer

First of all, thank you for always dropping by and reading my blog as well as leaving your comments, despite the irregular postings.  And I'm very sorry if I cannot frequently leave comments on your blogs.  Life is always busy.  Wish it is simpler . . .

I noticed my old thread organizer/box is already dirty and the color is not white anymore, instead, it's dirty white.  So I decided to buy a new one from Heavenly Stitchin' Moment.  Talk about justification, LOL!

So, here are the photos of the new organizer:

And here's how it looks with separators:

Now, filled with some threads,  needles, etc.  Sooner I know it will be filled to the brim.
The friendly and kind sales people in Heavenly Stitchin' Moment gave me these free DMC patterns when I bought the organizer:

This is all for now friends.  Thank you once again and take care everyone.

Doilies Unblocked

In my last post, I confessed that I finally gave in to starting something after being good for one month.  Actually, honestly, I started not only one but two doilies.  It is a repeat of this design that I did early last year which is so easy to do and have shown in this post:

These are the photos of the new one when I started it.  Sorry for the heavy photos, as usual, my son was playing with his camera:

And here it is together with my start of Little Doily No. 89:
I brought it once in the office so that I can do it during lunch break and here's how my desk looked like:

The design is from this Japanese crochet book:

Finished but unblocked.  Looks like a big potato chip:
By the way, anybody of you remember this WIP from a previous post?:
It's now finished but also unblocked:
Now you've seen two ugly ducklings and we'll see in the future how they will look like after blocking.

This is all for now my friends.  Thanks for dropping by and have a nice week ahead.

Hugs :-)
