In my last post, I confessed that I finally gave in to starting something after being good for one month. Actually, honestly, I started not only one but two doilies. It is a repeat of this design that I did early last year which is so easy to do and have shown in this post:
These are the photos of the new one when I started it. Sorry for the heavy photos, as usual, my son was playing with his camera:
And here it is together with my start of Little Doily No. 89:
I brought it once in the office so that I can do it during lunch break and here's how my desk looked like:
The design is from this Japanese crochet book:
Finished but unblocked. Looks like a big potato chip:
By the way, anybody of you remember this WIP from a previous post?:
It's now finished but also unblocked:
Now you've seen two ugly ducklings and we'll see in the future how they will look like after blocking.
This is all for now my friends. Thanks for dropping by and have a nice week ahead.
Hugs :-)

What a beautifully coloured doily,Toni and your finished one looks gorgeous. Please ask your son to keep the photos coming:)
Your finished doily is lovely. Would be a nice pattern for a red-white-blue doily, or maybe a red-green-white.....
The finished white one is a nice design also...you can never go wrong with a white doily!
They aren't ugly...you get paid to crochet?
I just like the swirling colors from the first 2 pics of the finished doily. It makes it appear a part of the design too.
your doily looked very nice, I need to get my threads and needles out. Been busy crocheting baby blankets. Lots of grand babies this year. One more in July.
