My First Cross Stitch

I was compiling and organizing my cross stitch patterns last week when I came upon the pattern of my first cross stitch:

This confirms that my addiction started way back 1999 :-D

It's funny because after discovering this, somebody from a local Facebook cross stitch group asked the members to show the photo of their first piece and also to tell when did we start the hobby.

This is my finished project from the pattern, actually it was a kit from Anchor:
Have a great week ahead my friends.  Take care always and thank you for stopping by.

I love this design Toni. I totally missed this post. I love anything to with gardens and flowers and the brick wall is so effective.
I hope you are well and finding time to stitch more on this one.
I have not been doing much lately,it was far too hot here for quite a while and since I had Molly for a week I have not got back into my stitching routine.I always want to stitch when I cannot and then I read when I can stitch!!
Thanks for your visit to my blog.Take care xx

Oh Toni such a pretty pattern! So cute I love it! I don't have the first few things I made. I started back in the in the 1960's as a little girl with stamped cross stitch and embroidery. I think I started counted cross stitch in the mid 1980s lol.
Hugs
