A Place . . . - Framed

Just a short one to show that my finished piece "A Place We Call Home" has been framed.  I just can't decide where to hang it.

I've tried to have the same frame like the one on the "Journey" but it's out of stock cause I love the frame used on it, although my husband said he prefers the one on "A Place":

Journey - Framed

Finally, my Journey is now framed and on the wall.  I finished it around May and it was only mid June that I have it framed.  One of the greatest happiness of a stitcher is seeing her finished piece framed and hanging and that is what I am feeling right now.

Am stitching my Tropical Fruits everyday and that's one of the reason why I can't blog weekly.  Most weekends, all I wanna do is stitch, stitch and stitch.  Then on weekdays, after a long day at the office, am too tired to bother opening the computer and composing a post, but I still manage to do some 200 to 300 stitches every evening.

I also am stitching a small piece at the office during lunch breaks.  Will post some photos soon.  Sorry, so many promises of posting photos LOL!

Joy In The Journey - FINISHED!

Last Sunday I was able to finish this piece, but I was overloaded with work that when I'm home, I just wanted to sleep, that's why it's only now that I can post about it.  So, here it is, unframed:

Sorry, pictures were not that good.  I used a different camera than my usual Sony.

I started working on Tropical Fruits, but progress is not that significant so maybe pictures will follow next week.  As of last posting about this project, I think this was the progress I've shown here:

I hope I can finish this soon but I am so slow I think it will take another year or two?... Then hopefully I can go back to my UFO's.  I am planning to follow this schedule:

Joy In The Journey Update

Hello dear friends!  Life is still busy as usual. But I can manage to religiously do my stitching at night.  And here's the latest progress on my Joy In The Journey project:

I hope this will be finished by my next posting.  Then, will decide which UFO I will be doing next.  I should be a good girl and avoid starting a new one, LOL!

By the way, I was experimenting with Ipernity, but trying hard as I might, I cannot post a photo here from the site.  Once, I know that I posted a picture here from Flicker and it was successful.  Problem is, I cannot remember what I did back then.  I hope someone can help me regarding this posting photos from Ipernity.

Hello Again

Time has gone quickly. I can't believe it's more than 6 months since my last post.  Life had been hectic, so busy and stressed out with work it's not funny anymore. 

A few weeks ago, while cleaning my closet, I came across some unopened cross stitch kits that my sister have bought for me maybe a year or two ago and thought why not start on one of those to get my stitching mojo back.  Sounds familiar?...LOL!  So I started this one from Janlynn, called "Joy In The Journey":

After a long day at work, cross stitching before going to bed really relaxes me.  Reminds me just how much I love this hobby.
